Fixed Output is a workstation that operates on presence. It is made from solid maple hardwood, white laminate,100% recycled paper, and a steel trash can. The object provides a place for the user to generate written or sketched output onto a replaceable padded stack of 1800 letter-sized sheets of paper. With each tear of a completed sheet, the user can chose to either keep the sheet by placing it behind the stack or trash the sheet via the crotch central 3-inch hole that leads to the trash can below. Although the object is stout, its cantilever balance requires the weight and attention of the user.
